We are thrilled to announce that Girganga Parivar Trust has successfully set a World Record for the “Largest Water-Faith Gathering”, an unprecedented event that brought together devotees and spiritual leaders to celebrate the sanctity of water and its role in spiritual unity. This record-breaking achievement was officially recognized by the IEA Book of World Records.

Historic World Record – The Largest Water-Faith Gathering

Event Highlights:

  • 111 Sacred Rivers’ Water: The event featured the holy water from 111 of India’s most revered rivers, including the Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada, Godavari, Kaveri, and many more. A massive Water Kalash (water urn) was created, symbolizing the divine essence of these rivers, bringing together their spiritual and cultural significance.

  • Maha Jal Puja: The centerpiece of the event was a grand Maha Jal Puja (Water Worship Ceremony), where thousands of devotees participated in prayer, rituals, and worship, seeking blessings from the water deities for global peace and prosperity.

  • Dr. Kumar Vishwas’s Divine Water Story: Renowned poet and spiritual speaker, Dr. Kumar Vishwas, presented a captivating divine water story (Jal Katha), inspiring over 50,000 devotees who attended the event. His words connected the deep spiritual significance of water with human values and unity.

A Monumental Milestone in Spiritual and Cultural Unity:

The gathering stood as a symbol of spiritual unity, with people from all walks of life sages, farmers, women, youth, and community leaders coming together to pledge for water conservation and to support the “Mission Jal Setu Gujarat” initiative. The event also reinforced the importance of water as a sacred element that binds humanity and the environment.

Pre-Event Highlights: Water Kalash Yatra and Mahapuja

On 14 December 2025, the Water Kalash Yatra (Water Pot Journey) began with the collection of sacred water from 111 rivers across India, which was then brought to Rajkot for the grand ceremony. Devotees participated in various activities to honor and protect water, including discussions, prayers, and the pledge for water conservation.
