Hyundai Motor India has won the ‘Indian Manufacturer of the Year 2019’ for world-class manufacturing and ‘Smart Factory Award’ for IoT readiness and production excellence from Frost & Sullivan at the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2019. Hyundai says that this is the third time it has been conferred with this award. According to Frost & Sullivan, out of 94 companies who participated in the first-level qualification, 78 companies underwent site assessment by the organisers, from which the winners were selected. Frost & Sullivan claims that the assessment process was carried out at Hyundai Motor India’s production facility for 3-4 days.
